For healthcare and insurance
Thousands of clinical assets across sites, in one register that survives the audit.
Hospitals and insurers keep large registers: imaging equipment, beds, IT, buildings, leasehold improvements, across campuses and entities. The problems are counting what exists, allocating depreciation to cost centres, and keeping book and tax apart for the entities that pay tax.

Can we allocate one asset's depreciation across cost centres?
Yes. A single asset's depreciation can be split by percentage across departments or cost centres, and changed by effective date when a department moves.
How do we find what is actually on the floor?
Barcode inventory: print labels, count with a handheld scanner, and report what was not found, what was found in the wrong place, and what was found but is not on the register. The exceptions drive the ghost-asset write-off and the insurance schedule.
We have taxable and tax-exempt entities. Does that work?
Each entity has its own books. The tax-exempt hospital runs on the book basis; the taxable physician group or the insurer runs federal, state and AMT alongside.
What about Medicare cost reports?
The depreciation-by-cost-centre report and the roll-forward supply the capital cost figures; confirm your intermediary's format with us before purchase.
How large can the register be?
Plans go to 10,000 asset records; larger registers are quoted and are common in this sector.
| Registers | Multi-entity, multi-campus in one database |
| Allocation | By percentage across cost centres, effective-dated |
| Counting | Barcode labels and scanner files; exception reports |
| Books | Book only for exempt entities; all four for taxable |
| Scale | 10,000 records on plan; above by quote |
